The underwater villa of Dubai is no longer a concept
19 June 2017
Dubai is once again the theater of innovative creations. The first city in the United Arab Emirates has just seen "The Floating Seahorse" emerge. The first underwater villa in the world.
A three-level floating villa
Floating villa or boat without propulsion, difficult to define the new concept straight out of the imagination of the engineers of Kleindienst Group, company established in Dubai.
Composed of three floors: underwater, at sea level and emerged, "The Floating Seahorse" is accessible after a short boat trip.
An upper deck accessible summer and winter
On the upper deck, future residents of the villa will have the opportunity to dine outdoors while enjoying the sun of Dubai lying on an informal floating bed.
A minibar is also provided, with a kitchenette and a glass-bottomed jacuzzi.
In winter, it will be possible to enjoy the luxurious facilities of the upper deck thanks to the retractable curtains which make it possible to transform the platform into a winter room.
360 ° sea view
The floor located between the underwater part and emerged of the villa gives an exceptional view on the seabeds thanks to the picture windows separating the room of the aquatic environment.
The space is also equipped with a kitchen, a dining room and an open lounge.
A green design
The "Floating Seahorse" is therefore a unique concept in the category of sea-style holidays.
With the project taking shape in March 2016, the Kleindienst Group real estate developer intends to extend its creation to an artificial archipelago under the "The Heart of Europe" project. An archipelago located almost 4 km from the coast of Dubai.
The choice of the name of the villa is not insignificant. Kleindienst also designed this revolutionary villa in an ecological way.
In the end, it will be a question of creating an artificial coral reef under each villa. This reef will be a protected area where seahorses can live and breed safely.
